Yeah with facebook being my updater its hard to blog. why repeat the same info over again....but to indulge my boredom at the moment I'll update my blog.

Since my last post I had been busy with my fall and spring semester at school and I did fairly well getting strait B's. In February I was able to go on a road trip with my husband and brother-in-law Tony as he moved to North Carolina, I had a great time...excluding the really disgusting/filthy/thrashed motel 6 in Louisville Kentucky that we stayed at. After arriving in North Carolina we had a couple extra days to explore so we drove up to DC and got to go to all of the amazing sites there like the white house, Arlington, Lincoln memorial, Smithsonian museum of natural history (my favorite). My feet were KILLING me by the end of the two days of exploring DC I literally could barley walk, never in my life had my feet ever hurt that bad.

Since February, besides finishing up with my spring semester, nothing else has happened, I'm taking a break from school for the summer. The only big thing happening this year is that Nick is going to be deploying for a year so getting pretty sad about that, but to help take my mind off of it, I really want to focus on the apartment and make it look a bit nicer, with consent of the landlord I am going to be able to paint the apartment, I'm really excited about that so when I get enough money saved up I'll be able to start painting this place up!

Wow this summer has gone by extremely fast, with the help of school it seems like a blurr, hopefully that will be the same for this winter when I take classes this fall. This is going to mark the longest stretch of time that I am going to go to school since high school, it feels pretty weird, but I'm excited. I had a blast this summer with my classes, all of my teachers were really laid back, and relaxed (thankfully since the start of my semester was a crappy one with me getting sick and all) and they were all easy! My biological anthropology class's teacher only wanted 5 one page papers throughout the semester and if you went over one page you were docked points, and only 2 tests which were easier than high schools tests, and that's pretty much the example of how my other classes were. So hopefully I did a good job in picking out my professors for this fall and they will be just as enjoyable.
On a sad note in July my family lost a long time pet and best friend Roanie, he was in our family for 20 years, he was 30 years old and he had a tumor in his jaw. My dad was too emotional to be there when the vet came to put him down so my family asked Nick and me to be there. I'm going to miss my riding buddy................

Okay its been awhile I started school for the summer semester and I just haven't had the time or if I had the time I was so burnt out from school to really feel like typing, but here I go.....What's happened since March, well I found out I was pregnant around the end of April, I was about 6 weeks along and was in a lot of pain and I started bleeding more than normal so I had to be taken to the ER (first time ever) and they did and ultra sound and said that it had to be aborted because was an ectopic pregnancy, which is where the fetus attached itself to the fallopian tube and was growing and tearing it and if it wasn't taken care of my tube could rupture and I could bleed internally and most likely die. They gave my two options that night; I could go into surgery immediately and either remove my whole right side of my ovaries and tube or try and save that side and go in and try to cut the fetus out of the tube in which case I would have scaring on that tube which would highten my risk of having another ectopic pregnancy again. Or they could give me a chemo therapy shot to kill it, so I opted for the shot and the doctor only okayed my choice after asking my how far from the hospital I live and when I told him that I just lived down the street he felt comfortable with giving me the shot, since I was at a high risk of my tube rupturing which if you don't pretty much live right next door to a hospital means death. Well the shot was a success and I didn't need surgery (thank heavens)............so on that happy note

moving on into May I took a rock climbing class at Weber which was just a PE class that was 1 credit and the whole semester class was a three day camp trip to the City of Rocks and I had a lot of fun climbed big rocks. At the time I was terrified and about to cry but now that its over I look back and am proud of myself for not backing down and facing my fears and actually doing something I would normally not do.

Now just this week at the end of May I wasn't feeling all that well and I started throwing up, now I hardley ever throw up and if on the rare occasion that I do I feel immediately better after doing it, well this time wasn't the case I woke up a four days ago Monday morning around 6 am and started throwing up so bad that my whole body was spasming and I was doing that up until 9 Nick took me to the ER ( I guess I'm trying to set a record) when I couldn't even keep water down and I started to get dehydrated. The doctors poked me and did some tests found out I have gastro intestinal infection and inflammation of my large intestine so its just something that has to run its course and so here I am now feeling a little better but I get tired very easily it sucks especially when I'm trying to focus on school and trying to do good. So here it is a new month hopefully I'm already at rock bottom and nothing could possibly get any worse so it will only be better from here on out.

I recently got a job interview a couple weeks ago, THE FIRST ONE IN 11 MONTHS OF APPLYING PLACES!!! It was for Cold Stone Ice Cream.....ugh well it was more like an audition. I was so pumped and excited, only to have my excitement deflate rather quickly upon entering the store for the (what I thought) interview. There in the middle of the store was 14 chairs lined up and filing up quickly with awkward high school kids, "okay " I thought "No problem, they'll just take us in a backroom for a private interview".......NOPE they had us sing, that's right SING!!! Now for those of you out there that know me I don't sing and if I do......well you just don't want me to sing. Anyways sorry I'm getting ahead of myself, I have only been to cold stone one time and that was like 8 or 9 years ago when my sister Rahndi was going to school in Logan and I was there hanging out with her. SOOO back to my story since I've only been there once I had no idea that employees have to sing for their tips............now I will just tell you now that I can't just burst into song at the drop of a hat (tip) like some Disney character, to a stranger no less.......so there I was sitting amongst the nervous kids feeling rather ill myself but I was going to stick with it, I need a job and I will not let a potential job slip away just because I didn't want to do the "interview". The manager of the store gets up and states that she would like us to sing once by ourselves and then one more time in groups having 5 min to come up with a song tune but replace the original lyrics to stuff that has so do with Coldstone and Icecream. For the LIFE of me when I sat there waiting for my individual tern to come I could not think of a song, well I could think of song titles, but couldnt think of more than two words in the song or even the tune, finally my turn came and I stood up there and I finally had to ask for a request from the audience one of the people said "YMCA" okay sweet I can do that no problem.....well the only words I knew was the "IT'S FUN TO STAY AT THE YMCA......ITS FUN TO STAY AT THE YMCA-A................." and that was all...need I say more I didn't get the job but I honestly don't care, that was by far the most awkward embarrassing interview EVER... So if your ever considering a job at Coldstone be prepared to SING!!!!!

Yay it's a new year and hopefully everyone had a great time. I had a fun Christmas though I did get sick with a sore throat Christmas eve :(. I did have a wonderful time with mine and my husbands family, I especially had a lot of fun playing wii for the very first time. My favorite is the tennis I'm not very good I just swing really fast the whole time even when the ball is not coming towards me so my person on screen is spazzing out, it's pretty entertaining though my wrist was killing me afterward. I took some family pictures of my Jamie and Chantry and their little ones here they are I'm practicing my photography skills, who knows it might be a career. Here are the pictures................

Hey everyone been holding off blogging cuz there really hasn't been anything that's happened since I last blogged. I live a very uneventful life. I finished painting my second nativity set, a smaller one then those in the pics that I posted. I've now started painting a ceramic horse it's going to be pretty, I should be done painting it tomorrow and I'll have pics of it up soon. Other then that it's been pretty boring uneventful. It snowed today I'm excited about that!

So I'm back from my road trip and there where a few bumps in the road here they all are in pictures......
We got into camp around 1 am so we left the car lights on the campsite so we could see to put up our tent.........the next morning the cars battery was dead so we had to push it out for someone to jump us.... not easy thing to do when your on a slant.......so we finally got someone to jump our car by then we were very hungry we started to get breakfast ready only to have our BRAN NEW OUT OF THE BOX!! cooking stove not work......

luckily there was a town nearby and we drove out there to get a new stove....got back to camp and got coals burning in our new stove, started to cook the eggs only to realize that we forgot a spatula............so we had to use a fork..... scrambled was the order of the day
Our tiny blue tent was well...... tiny and when it came to getting dressed or moving around it was a struggle so we went and bought a bigger tent......that evening it started raining and it kept raining into the next day, we woke up to our bran new tent leaking....... we had to go to the store to get some tent sealer stuff

We had a few rough moments but in the end its something to look back on and laugh

The hair of many colors

Funny story, Nick decided a few weeks ago that he wanted to dye his hair black, so he did......... but he didn't realize that store bought black hair dye always has blue put into it. So his hair was a dark blue, he has to go to work in a couple days and a blue haired deputy is not going be good :) (I didn't get a picture), called my mom for help and the poor kid had to get his hair bleached............................ now he had orange hair........Nick didn't want to go to work with orange hair either so he bought some mahogany brown hair color..... he didn't realize that mahogany is a deep red.......forgot to take a picture of it as red :(. Then this time he let me choose the hair color and finally we got a brown, though still a little red was visible......his poor scalp was so tender

Sorry I abandoned my blog, didn't feel like doing much of it lately.......... still searching for a job not having much luck, I'm going to start painting again since I have a lot of time on my hands. I'm also looking at taking courses on home staging and interior decorating I found a good source and am thinking of taking it.
Nick and I have been busy, aside from our little hamster that I've already told you about, we now have three rats, and two guinea pigs they're all cute. I know many of you are thinking "RATS!" but really they are very playful especially Saphire, our blue rat, she loves it when you crinkle paper, when you crinkle it she shakes her head and starts to run and jump around then she'll tackle the paper and wrestle with it, she's a cutie.

This is Saphire, the other two wouldn't hold still for me to get a good picture, maybe later.

Its been a busy month Nick and I have been house hunting and we found a house that we really like. It's an older home that could use some fixing up as far as interior design goes but it has one acre of land that I would love to have. Oh and it smells really bad of cigarette smoke in the house, it stunk, but nothing a lot of carpet washing and fabreez can't handle :-)...................

Earlier this month I went to Burley to go to my old friend Kamila's bridal shower and had a lot of fun there I'm so excited for her. It was fun to sit down and reminisce about old times.

Here is my little critter-friend Bincey, she loves the cotton balls that I but in her cage. Now don't get me wrong from working in the pet department going on three years I have learned that hamsters are EVIL!!! little creatures (for the most part) I can't tell you how many times they've tried to bite me. Bincey is probably the only exception, she is so sweet, which is very surprising to me. I adopted her from my store, they were going to put her down because her left eye was really bad and swollen all the time and she went to the vet 3 different times and was on three different medication and was in the stores sick room for six months having a syringe put in her mouth twice a day, she stayed sweet whereas other hamsters get very mean. I couldn't bare the thought of her being put down so the store adopted her to me and I changed her bedding from wood chips to torn up toilet paper and cotton balls and her eye is not bad anymore though she'll get goobers in her left eye every once in awhile, she'll just sit in my hand as I wash it off.
Here is Bincey in her seed bowl, It is so cute I use to just refill her dish inside her cage whenever she ran out of seeds, but I noticed some seeds she didn't like would litter her cage so I dumped the hamster seed bag into a Tupperware bowl and set it outside her little door and when I open it up she'll come out and choose the seeds she likes and fills both sides of her cheeks, and turns around and goes back in her cage. Its very entertaining after a couple of seed runs I'll close her door so she doesn't get to many seeds.

sorry I abandoned my blog for awhile It's hard for me to think of stuff to write about. The last few weeks have been a blurr, a couple weeks ago Nick came from his work to see me at my work and while he was in Petsmart some kid backed into his mazda and drove away! Luckily a VERY nice couple saw what happened and got the licence plate, called the cops and stayed by Nicks car till the cops arrived. There's about 2300 dollars damage to the trunk and bumper, we have the other persons insurance info so YAY! we don't have to pay for it.

I was so excited for Christmas morning, to just see the look on Nick's face when he walked out and saw all of his gifts, yeah I might have gone over bored but I was making up for last years Christmas when he was overseas, and I was not disappointed he had a very good Christmas and It was the best Christmas that I have had in years....

Here is what Christmas morning looked like for Nick and me, we spent Christmas with my parents in Peterson. We woke up around 8 seeing the big, fluffy, snow flakes falling heavily and It didn't stop until about five that evening.

Happy holidays everyone!!
Hello everyone sorry its been a couple weeks since I last blogged and it has nothing to do with being busy, its just nothing has happened. After I finished my finals I have had nothing to do, yes, I do have a job but they're only working my one day a week (due to my previous full time school schedule) but now that I'm finished with my semester I have yet to get bumped back up to full time. Anyways, sooooooo I have been a couch potato, and no I haven't been rotting by brain cells with TV. I got a beautiful bisque nativity set that I'm painting, I just couldn't find a nativity set out there that I liked. A lot of nativity sets are really....ummm goddy.... well that's the word I use, It's were Jesus, Mary, and Joseph are all garbed out in gold and jewels, and I want my nativity set to be a little more realistic. It's been really fun painting it too. I'll post a picture of the Nativity set when I'm finished with it.

sorry these last few weeks have not been very nice to me, since my last blog I got really sick with a sinus infection, my aunt Norma passed away, and a couple days ago I had all four of my impacted wisdom teeth removed.............so I'm pretty miserable right now. It's almost 1 a.m. and I cant sleep because of the horrible pain in my upper and lower jaw, and I'm just waiting for the pain killers to kick in.
but on a happier note................I can't believe that its almost Christmas I am very excited, and it is going to be a very special holiday since it is going to be the first one that I am spending with my sweet heart Nick, last season he was over in Iraq so I have a good reason to be very happy.

So I went to the dentist a couple days ago and got the news that my wisdom teeth are coming in and that it is recommended that I get them out ASAP. :( I also had a huge scare and almost lost my dad a couple weeks ago, he is doing fine now. Though he still needs to gain about 30 more pounds, He has a rare form of type 2 diabetes where his body is completely rejecting all forms of insulin, but the amazing doctors at Ogden Regional where able to map out a plan to get him healthy again. So its been a really emotional October.
But other than that life has been going.......

Nick and I are doing great we both had a wonderful birthday though I still need to make Nick his favorite cake ha ha oh well better late then never I guess.

Oh and it's the cutest thing I love how Nick tries to be a big tough guy but I was able to (over the last couple weeks) get him hooked on the TV show Project Runway where a bunch of clothing designers are presented with a challenge to make an outfit, for instance one week the
challenge was for the designers to make a dress out of car parts and another week the challenge was for them to make an dress from the inspiration of a flower of their choice.
I find that show rather entertaining to watch, but I think its so adorable that he can sit down and watch shows like that with me
and actually get into them and not hassle me on how stupid the show is and to not be one of the typical guy who has to watch the "manly" shows all the time.( I love him)

Oh and it snowed almost a foot last weekend, and I am a major Christmas fanatic (thanks to my mom ), so once I saw the thick heavy snow flakes fall I got Christmas fever and wanted to start decorating for Christmas right then and there, Nick had to hold me back, but was willing to compromise with a Christmas movie. So I got hot chocolate ready along with some popcorn, and we both piled a bunch of blankets on the couch and buried ourselves in them and watched a hallmark Christmas movie (the only Christmas movie I had I just realized with a lot of shock and horror) but the cute thing was that after we got finished watching the movie, Nick wanted to watch more Christmas movies, it was really funny how I rubbed the Christmas fever onto him.
( did I mention that I love him?)

Hey everyone WOW! Its been four months since I've blogged here. Soooooooo much has happened I've been really busy sorry, and to think the last time I updated my blog Nick was still in Iraq.....Crazy! Soooooooo here's the update:

Nick flew in on Memorial day and from there on out it was crazy wedding planning since we didn't even have a date set................ well I wouldn't say that, we had an idea of a time period...... but as far as the location and time and date...... yeah.......it was crazy. But I couldn't really finalize any planning until Nick got back since with the military they could've extended his leave out in Iraq so the planning wasn't set in stone till he was back safe and sound in good ol' Utah. Anyways we got married July 12th in the Jordan River Temple it was a beautiful day not a cloud in the sky (though a little shade from the sun would've been nice)

Everything went off without a hitch, Nick and I kept holding our breaths waiting for something catastrophic to happen, since it seems whenever I've talked to someone about my wedding they always seem to relate a horror story from something that happened at their wedding..... sorry I'm rambling....

Then the very next morning on the 13th we hitched a plane to San Diego. Nick and I went to Sea World and the San Diego Zoo and San Diego National Park(which was awesome its like a safarie where you are in the back of a truck and you go into the animal habitats it was awesome!) and our hotel room was in a cove and a couple blocks down the road was the beach it was beautiful. We stayed there a week.

Then we had an apartment set up before we got married in Washington Terrace (AKA South Ogden) so once back from the honeymoon we hit the place hard and had to go back and forth from our previous residences to pick up all of our belongings to make this apartment our home. whooooooh wow busy busy.

All that done with both Nick and me working, me at Petsmart and Nick at the Davis County Jail(where in that time he got promoted to Deputy instead of clerk, so now he gets where a cop uniform which looks very nice on him............ mmmmm.. mmm!).

and then after I think I have a moment to breath I need to get set up for school for the fall which, at the time, was about four weeks away, but I needed to fill out and send paper work to the program that is going to fund my school, but I'm really late cuz it takes a few weeks for the paperwork and needless to say.......school starts tomorrow and I haven't heard from the people and I dont have text books. CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh well.

well that about sums it all up now I've got to go put some ice on my cramped fingers from all this typing.

Ok sorry everyone I am officially the WORST blogger, I just got finished looking at a lot of people's blogs clicking from one link to the next and seeing some awesome blogs from those I grew up knowing from my home town in Burley Idaho its nice to see how they're all doing and where they are all at right now its awesome. It made me realize that just leaving simple information is really nice to hear about. So here I've been waiting for some huge extravagant something happen thinking that the little things aren't worth telling. I'm going to try my hand at doing the tag thing (again) I tried to do it awhile ago and after typing for what seemed like AN HOUR! The internet kicked me off right as I was about to post my info so I was pretty....ummm.....frustrated :) we'll see how next attempt goes once I have a day off, I've been having to get up at 4 a.m to be able to get to work by 6 so when I get home I pretty much become a vegetable (literally) :)

Ummmmmmm.....lets see well I got in my first car accident a couple months ago. Yeah it sucked.
I didnt get injured and no one else was involved so i'm pretty lucky no one got hurt. Lets see what else.........i'm just getting over a cruddy cold and sore throat and have been battling losing my voice its been about a week and i'm sick of being sick! And i'm just going to work coming home and repeating the whole process over again the next day. thats the whole story of what my last few months have been like.

Everyone came out to get pulled in the sled with Chantry's four wheeler. Mario, Mia, Sam, Marcela, Gabbie, Rahndi, Jamie,Chantry and Megan. Oh it was so fun I had a couple of bad wipe outs, and major snow up the nose. But a we had a lot of fun.
