So I went to the dentist a couple days ago and got the news that my wisdom teeth are coming in and that it is recommended that I get them out ASAP. :( I also had a huge scare and almost lost my dad a couple weeks ago, he is doing fine now. Though he still needs to gain about 30 more pounds, He has a rare form of type 2 diabetes where his body is completely rejecting all forms of insulin, but the amazing doctors at Ogden Regional where able to map out a plan to get him healthy again. So its been a really emotional October.
But other than that life has been going.......

Nick and I are doing great we both had a wonderful birthday though I still need to make Nick his favorite cake ha ha oh well better late then never I guess.

Oh and it's the cutest thing I love how Nick tries to be a big tough guy but I was able to (over the last couple weeks) get him hooked on the TV show Project Runway where a bunch of clothing designers are presented with a challenge to make an outfit, for instance one week the
challenge was for the designers to make a dress out of car parts and another week the challenge was for them to make an dress from the inspiration of a flower of their choice.
I find that show rather entertaining to watch, but I think its so adorable that he can sit down and watch shows like that with me
and actually get into them and not hassle me on how stupid the show is and to not be one of the typical guy who has to watch the "manly" shows all the time.( I love him)

Oh and it snowed almost a foot last weekend, and I am a major Christmas fanatic (thanks to my mom ), so once I saw the thick heavy snow flakes fall I got Christmas fever and wanted to start decorating for Christmas right then and there, Nick had to hold me back, but was willing to compromise with a Christmas movie. So I got hot chocolate ready along with some popcorn, and we both piled a bunch of blankets on the couch and buried ourselves in them and watched a hallmark Christmas movie (the only Christmas movie I had I just realized with a lot of shock and horror) but the cute thing was that after we got finished watching the movie, Nick wanted to watch more Christmas movies, it was really funny how I rubbed the Christmas fever onto him.
( did I mention that I love him?)

Honeymoon San Diago

Hey everyone WOW! Its been four months since I've blogged here. Soooooooo much has happened I've been really busy sorry, and to think the last time I updated my blog Nick was still in Iraq.....Crazy! Soooooooo here's the update:

Nick flew in on Memorial day and from there on out it was crazy wedding planning since we didn't even have a date set................ well I wouldn't say that, we had an idea of a time period...... but as far as the location and time and date...... yeah.......it was crazy. But I couldn't really finalize any planning until Nick got back since with the military they could've extended his leave out in Iraq so the planning wasn't set in stone till he was back safe and sound in good ol' Utah. Anyways we got married July 12th in the Jordan River Temple it was a beautiful day not a cloud in the sky (though a little shade from the sun would've been nice) 

Everything went off without a hitch, Nick and I kept holding our breaths waiting for something catastrophic to happen, since it seems whenever I've talked to someone about my wedding they always seem to relate a horror story from something that happened at their wedding..... sorry I'm rambling....

Then the very next morning on the 13th we hitched a plane to San Diego. Nick and I went to Sea World and the San Diego Zoo and San Diego National Park(which was awesome its like a safarie where you are in the back of a truck and you go into the animal habitats it was awesome!) and our hotel room was in a cove and a couple blocks down the road was the beach it was beautiful. We stayed there a week.

Then we had an apartment set up before we got married in Washington Terrace (AKA South Ogden) so once back from the honeymoon we hit the place hard and had to go back and forth from our previous residences to pick up all of our belongings to make this apartment our home. whooooooh wow busy busy. 

All that done with both Nick and me working, me at Petsmart and Nick at the Davis County Jail(where in that time he got promoted to Deputy instead of clerk, so now he gets where a cop uniform which looks very nice on him............ mmmmm.. mmm!).

and then after I think I have a moment to breath I need to get set up for school for the fall which, at the time, was about four weeks away, but I needed to fill out and send paper work to the program that is going to fund my school, but I'm  really late cuz it takes a few weeks for the paperwork and needless to say.......school starts tomorrow and I haven't heard from the people and I dont have text books. CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh well. 

well that about sums it all up now I've got to go put some ice on my cramped fingers from all this typing.

Crazy Winter!!

It was a crazy winter and boy am I glad thats spring is here

Ok sorry everyone I am officially the WORST blogger, I just got finished looking at a lot of people's blogs clicking from one link to the next and seeing some awesome blogs from those I grew up knowing from my home town in Burley Idaho its nice to see how they're all doing and where they are all at right now its awesome. It made me realize that just leaving simple information is really nice to hear about. So here I've been waiting for some huge extravagant something happen thinking that the little things aren't worth telling. I'm going to try my hand at doing the tag thing (again) I tried to do it awhile ago and after typing for what seemed like AN HOUR! The internet kicked me off right as I was about to post my info so I was pretty....ummm.....frustrated :) we'll see how next attempt goes once I have a day off, I've been having to get up at 4 a.m to be able to get to work by 6 so when I get home I pretty much become a vegetable (literally) :)
